If you enjoy learning about serial killers and they’re lives (which I definitely do), then I would say you will enjoy this film. I thought I knew quite a lot about the notorious killer Ted Bundy, little did I know that I was wrong. No matter whether you know everything or nothing about Ted Bundy, if you like to learn or enjoy learning about serial killers, then I would say you are likely to enjoy this film.
Although I have to say, I probably am bias, being a big Lily Collins fan, the acting was very good from all of the main actors and actresses through this film, and portrayed the story of Liz in an eye opening way, just fantastic. Efron also portrayed Bundy stunningly!
I very much likely the fact that, unlike most Bundy films or documentaries, they showed the perspectives of both Bundy and Liz, which not many producers have explored. It certainly put a different light on the life story, compared to the other films and documentaries that I’ve previously watched.
No, this film doesn’t go into great details about the horrific acts that bundy committed, however I think that was a lot of the charm of the film. It’s not fixated on the details about the murders and trails, like many other bundy films, but instead it focused on the emotions surrounding these experiences, for both Liz, Bundy, but also Carol and Lizs boyfriend.
So to sum up, if you like learning about serial killers and the mess they leave behind in their own family, give this a watch.. it will not disappoint!
